Della May Eimen was born June 17, 1913 near Aurora, Iowa the daughter of Rodney and Vera (Sampson) Weeks. She graduated from Wellman High School in 1930. In April of 1934 she was united in marriage to Clifford Yoder, he died on January 20, 1968. Della worked at the University of Iowa Library in the Catalog Department for 18 years before retiring in 1983. In March of 1987 she was united in marriage to Paul Eimen at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, he died on January 20, 1990. She enjoyed sewing, reading and traveling. Della died on Friday, November 18, 2005 at Parkview Manor in Wellman following a long illness at the age of 92 years. Della is survived by a daughter - Pat Kondora and husband I.E. "Short"of Iowa City; a step daughter - Debbie Eimen of Iowa City; a step son - Peter Eimen of Texas; 1 granddaughter; 2 step granddaughters; and 4 great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands.
A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Washington County.
