Deanna Lynne Green

Deanna L. Green, age 53, of Amana passed away in her home on Thursday March 19, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., July 1, 2020 at the Main Amana Cemetery, Main Amana, with Elder Elly Hoehnle officiating. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m., at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is assisting the family with arrangements.

She is survived by her father, LeeRoy of Amana; two half-brothers, Rick Shafranik of Missouri, and David Green of Center Point; a half-sister, Susan Hollrah of Cedar Rapids; and two nieces; Rebecca Hollrah and Anneli Ginader. She is also survived by her Ronneburg Restaurant Family, where she currently was the kitchen manager. Deanna is preceded in death by her mother.

Deanna Lynn Green was born October 14, 1966 in Marengo, Iowa the daughter of LeeRoy and Nancy Coble Green. She graduated from Anamosa High School in 1985 and attended Kirkwood Community College. She then was employed with food service at the Colony Inn. Deanna went on to own and operate the Pizza Factory at Middle Amana for 15 years. In 2006, she took a position with the Ronneburg Restaurant. Deanna enjoyed motorcycling, she rode a Honda, but loved Harley Davidson. She enjoyed fishing in Minnesota and Iowa and was an avid lover of cats. Deanna will be greatly missed.
