An angel was taken home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2022.

Our DeAnna, wife and mother, dedicated her life to God, giving so much to others without ever expecting anything in return. Her creativity and artistic talent were outmatched only by her special gift for bringing people closer to Christ.

We honor DeAnna for how she displayed God’s heart for kindness and compassion in the way she lived her life every day. One cannot find words to express just how wonderful she was in her time here on this earth. We can only thank the good Lord for the happiness she brought us. And now He has called her home to her special place in Heaven.

DeAnna leaves behind her husband Gordon, sons Nick and Nathan, parents James and Mary, siblings David, Denise, and Angela, and four grandchildren, who along with her extended family and close friends will always cherish their memories of her life.

Celebration of life to be held February 26, 2022 at Kloster Funeral Home, 298 W. Washington St., Marengo, Iowa 52301. Visitation at 1 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 2 p.m., officiated by Pastor Joel Tenney. Burial will be at a later date in the South Amana Cemetery. Memorials may be contributed to the Amana Arts Guild, in DeAnna’s name.
