David B. Miller

David B. Miller, age 49 of Coralville, IA passed away Monday April 27, 2015 peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dave was born May 22, 1965 in Cedar Rapids, IA to George R. and Nancy Graf Miller. In school he enjoyed sports and graduated from Mid-Prairie High School in 1983.
David will be remembered as being very loyal to his family, friends, and those fortunate enough to employ him. He enjoyed fishing with his friends, mushroom hunting and all types of sports, especially LA Lakers basketball and Cubs baseball. His sense of humor, smile and friendly nature enabled him to build many steadfast friendships over the years.
David's survivors include his mother; brother, Steven/Lori Miller of Toddville; step-mother Deb/Stan McCreedy of Ainsworth; step-sister Maria/Greg Hanson of Coralville. Aunts and uncles, Ann/Lester Schmitt; Rose Marie/Ken Slagle; Bonnie/Bob Baker; Jerry/Linda Huffman and Ron/Lynn Graf. Also many loving cousins and supportive friends.
Preceding him in death was his father and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
The family will greet friends from 4-7 P.M. on Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Burial will be in the Wellman Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the David Miller Memorial fund.
