Williamsburg- Charles Kelly Harvey was born March 19, 1963 in Washington, Iowa, the son of Charles F. and Helen Kathline (Kelly) Harvey. He attended school at Mid-Prairie in Wellman. He was united in marriage to Charlene Marie Fowler. He worked at the family owned business the Cafe Tavern and the fiberglass shop in Wellman before working at Kinze Manufacturing for many years, until his health declined. He enjoyed racing at West Liberty raceway that was he all time favorite track and crowd cheering him on. He also enjoyed spending time with his kids Shawn and Julie, going to car shows, restoring old class cars, he always put other first and always was lending a helping hand to the ones that he loved. Charles died on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his home in Williamsburg, at the age of 58 years.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene of Williamsburg; a son, Shawn (Jasmine) Harvey of Gurly, Alabama; a daughter, Julie Harvey of Marengo; a step granddaughter, Brianna Suire of Williamsburg; three sisters, Elaine (Darrell) Smith of Williamsburg, Barb Aldeman of Wellman and Joyce Swartzendruber of Kalona; father-in-law, Clifford Grimm and special friends Lynn & Linda Gorsch of Williamsburg. He was preceded by his parents and a brother John Harvey
