Charles David Wright

Keota- Charles David Wright was born August 11, 1958 in Washington, Iowa, the son of David and Jean (Koenig) Wright. He attended school in Keota. Chuck worked with his father doing electrical work along with working at Kalona Plastics and later Ray-Man for 23 years. He was a member of the Keota Jaycee's. Chuck enjoyed tinkering around, doing handyman jobs and going on road trips with Schmitty and helping him to restore antique John Deere tractors. Chuck died Friday, January 19, 2018 at his home at the age of 59 years.

He is survived by his parents; a sister: Debbie Wright of Keota; two brothers: Ron (Tatia) Wright of Keota and Doug (Ann) Wright of Ankeny; a niece: Hannah Myers; two nephews: Garrett Wright and Noah Wright and two great nephews: Xander Myers and Ryker Myers. He was preceded in death by his sister Carol Wright.

Celebration of Life Visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2018, at the Powell Funeral Home in Keota from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Private family burial will be in the Keota Cemetery. A general memorial has been established. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
