Carrol "Tub" Shaull

NORTH ENGLISH - Carrol L. "Tub" Shaull, 83, died Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the English Valley Care Center in North English.
He was born October 21, 1935, the son of Virgil and Ailene (Montross) Shaull. He graduated from Millersburg High School in 1954 and farmed with his dad. On June 14, 1958, Carrol was united in marriage to Catherine Reitzler at St. Bernard Catholic Church. They were married for 61 years. He was a life long member of the Millersburg Methodist Church. He served on the Deep River Millersburg School Board , Church Board, Modern Co-Op Telephone Board.
Carrol is survived by his wife Catherine of Millersburg 6 children: Linda Shaull of Apple Valley, MN, Mary Shaull of Fort Dodge, Roberta Icenbice of Hartford, WI, Karen Shaull (Mike Walker) of Olathe, KS, Larry (Dana) Shaull of Deep River, Kevin Shaull of Millersburg; 8 grandchildren: Matthew Icenbice of Barnes City, Erica Post of Humboldt, Katelyn (Andrew) Tenold of Lake Mills, Brittney (Ryan) Goodrich of Auburn, AL, Tadd Shaull and fiancé Anna Wessling, of Waterloo, Audrey (David) Black of Milwaukie, OR, Dwight (Rebecca) Shaull of North English, Colbie Shaull of Montezuma; 5 great grandchildren: Keaton Icenbice, Jason Westpheling, Madilyn Icenbice, Coen and Corinne Tenold; and a brother Gary (Connie) Shaull and their daughters Wendy and Kim (Pat) Morrisey of Overland Park, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson David Icenbice, and a sister Patsy Shaull.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at the Millersburg Methodist Church. Rev. Michelle Williamson will officiate. Burial will be in the Millersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. A memorial fund has been established for Millersburg Methodist Church and Iowa City Hospice.
