Carol Ann Butterfield was born October 11, 1938 in Grinnell, Iowa the daughter of Lawrence Maxwell and Bertha (King) Snodgrass. She married Charles Butterfield Sr. on September 27, 1959 in Iowa City, Iowa. She was a homemaker and a mother. Carol died on Thursday, January 6, 2005 at the Pine Lane Health Care Facility in Mountain Home, Arkansas following a brief illness at the age of 66 years. Carol is survived by her husband Charles Butterfield Sr. of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 2 sons - Charles Butterfield Jr. of Bartonville, Illinois; Thomas Butterfield of Edelstein, Illinois; 2 daughters - Christine Mueller of Elk River, Minnesota; Beth McGee of Rea Valley, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister - Helen Snyder of Red Oak, Iowa; and a brother - Robert Snodgrass of Iowa City. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
