North English- Bonnie Lou Doehrmann was born November 21, 1953, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Howard & Geraldine (Halgren) Boyles. She graduated from Shellsburg High School, Shellsburg, Iowa. On January 9, 1993, Bonnie married Dale Doehrmann at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Williamsburg. She worked as a cook in Montezuma, Hillside Estates and Marengo Hospital. She enjoyed being outdoors, flowers and birds. Bonnie died on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at her home near North English, at the age of 58 years. She is survived by her husband Dale of North English; a daughter Heidi (Robert) Schlesselman of Deep River; 2 sons: Jason (Jamie) Wendel of Blairstown and Casey (Lacey) Wendel of Newhall; 6 grandchildren; 7 sisters: Bev (Dick) Schwarting of Williamsburg, Marcia (Jerry) Cook of Center Point, Glenda Ferguson of Marion, Rosann Olmstead of Shellsburg, WI, Dixie Bierschenk of Williamsburg, Cheryl (John) Dlouhy of Marion and Joyce (Richard) Wychoff of Center Point; and a brother Gary Boyles of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister. Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, June 18, 2012, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Williamsburg. Rev. Richard Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-4 PM at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
