Bob D Mikelson

Williamsburg-Bob D. Mikelson was born October 28, 1937, in Clarion, Iowa, the son of Le Roy and Gladys (Doctor) Mikelson.  He graduated from Perry High School in 1955.  He served in the United States Air Force.

   He worked as a hog buyer for Oscar Mayer and Land-O-Lakes retiring in 2002.  He has lived in Perry, Webster City, Ames and Williamsburg.  Bob was a member of the Elks, Eagles, American Legion and the Park board in Perry.  He enjoyed golf, fishing and socializing.

   Bob died on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at his home in Williamsburg at the age of 85 years.

   He is survived by his three children, Lisa (Tom) Pinz of St. Peters, MO, Michelle (Jeff) McMahon of Glendale, AZ, and Scott (Kathi) Mikelson of St. Peters, MO and 8 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Gene and Merle Mikelson and a sister Donna King.
