Beverly Elaine Yoder

Kalona- Beverly Elaine Yoder was born Saturday August 3, 1930 in Stanton, Iowa. The daughter of John and Florence (Seaburg) Crain, she graduated from Clarinda High School and the University of Iowa School of Nursing. On September 10, 1955 Beverly was united in marriage Clayton Yoder in Clarinda, IA. They lived in Iowa City and Indiana, before moving to Grand Island, Nebraska where they lived for 40 years, until returning to Iowa City in 2002. Beverly worked as a nurse for several years and homemaker. Beverly was a member at the St. Marks United Methodist church in Iowa City. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting, volunteering for The Red Cross and Food Banks, and being a homemaker. Beverly passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the Pleasantview Home in Kalona at the age of 90.

She is survived by a daughter Deborah (Terry) Erb of Wellman; two grandchildren Aaron Erb of Kalona and Lindsay (Jason) Widmer of Wellman; and three great grandchildren Abe, Emma and Owen Widmer. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Clayton.
