Becky L. Wiebold

Becky L. Wiebold, age 67, of Marengo, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Marengo Cemetery, Marengo. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Becky to Kloster Funeral Home, 298 W. Washington St. Marengo, Iowa 52301.

Becky is survived by her siblings Sherry (Dale) Kouba of Central City, Deb (Rex) Saunders of Marengo, and Kris Gerard of Marengo; her brother Al (Linda) Gerard of Marengo; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two nephews Spencer Kouba and Blake Saunders, and her ex-husband Bill.

Becky Lee Gerard was born February 4, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Russell and Rachel Siems Gerard. She graduated from Iowa Valley high school with the class of 1974. She was united in marriage to Bill Wiebold and the couple later divorced. Becky worked at Amana Refrigeration, as a housekeeper for the Guest House in Amana, and lastly worked as a housekeeper for Compass Memorial Healthcare retiring in 2020. She loved to travel when she was younger, Hawaii and Florida were her favorite places to visit. She was very festive and decorated for every holiday, especially Christmas. Becky enjoyed watching cooking shows and boxing on tv. She loved her two chihuahua’s JoJo and Lola. Becky enjoyed making ceramics and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
