Barry J Lockridge

Williamsburg- Barry Joe Lockridge was born on October 20, 1955, the son of Ardith Lee and Mary Rose (Northup) Lockridge. He grew up in the Amana community and graduated from Amana High School. He went on to obtain his electrician's journeyman certificate. Barry worked as a high voltage lineman/electrician for the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. In March 1997 Barry was united in marriage to Nicole Marie Foltz in Jamaica. They lived in North Liberty before making their home in Williamsburg. He enjoyed riding his Harley with friends. Barry died on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Compass Memorial Healthcare in Marengo at the age of 65 years from complications of ALS and early onset Alzheimer's.

He is survived by his wife Nicole of Williamsburg; two daughters Kayleigh Marie Bauer of North Liberty and Alaina Jean (Rick) Sedlacek of Wellman; four grandchildren Cooper Girvan, Lacey, Addy and Mila Sedlacek; and a sister Jan (Bill) Grabe of Shueyville. He was preceded by his parents.
