Arlene E. Cronbaugh was born January 2, 1928 in Ponca Nebraska, the daughter of Frederick and Edith Knoell Eiben. She graduated from Omaha High School, later uniting in marriage to Merle H. Cronbaugh on September 3, 1947 in Viola Center, Iowa. Arlene enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and sewing. She also spent her time reading, putting together puzzles and playing dominos. She especially loved spending time with her family and attending church. She will be greatly missed by many.

Arlene is survived by a son, Steven Cronbaugh of Battle Ground, WA; three daughters, Sheryl (John) Rohlf of Garner, Joanne (Dennis) Boylan of Wonder Lake, IL, and Rosetta (Michael) Ealy of Williamsburg; nine grandchildren, Lindsy (Jose) Lopez, Jason (Leah) Rohlf, Kalysa (Justin) Wroblewski, Krysten Boylan, Amber (Ryan) Spratt, Brittni (Michael) McCallister, Reece (Bryn) Ealy, Hannah and Elijah Cronbaugh; and 16 great grandchildren, Xavier, Isaac, Isabelle, John, Kade, Grace, Bishop, Emmett, Owen, Kalon, Keston, Brixton, Slayton, Tenley, May and Cade.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Merle H., three brothers, Merle, Dale and Marlow Eiben, and a daughter in law Sandra Cronbaugh.

She passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Compass Memorial Hospital. She had reached the age of 91 years, 9 months and 17 days. Private graveside services were held Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Koszta Cemetery, rural Marengo. Memorials may be contributed to Oaklawn Church of God, or Marengo Senior Dining.
