Anne Marie Grimm was born October 31, 1919 near Deep River, Iowa, the daughter of John and Sarah Neal Martin. She attended rural school. Anne was united in marriage to Everette Earl (Slicky) Grimm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on November 14, 1936. They farmed together near Millersburg until moving to Williamsburg in 1984. Anne also worked at Amana Refrigeration for 25 years. In May of 2004 she became a resident of the Valley View Assisted Living in North English. Anne was a member of the Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers #1526 and the Millersburg United Methodist Church. Anne died Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the English Valley Care Center in North English after a short illness at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 28 days. Anne is survived by three children: Pamela Tedrow of Cedar Rapids, Randy (Debra) Grimm and Deborah (Randy) Provin all of Williamsburg; eleven grandchildren: William Decker, Deb White, Brian (Diana) Tedrow, Todd (Michael) Tedrow, Jim, Jr. (Sheila) Tedrow, Chad (Angela) Grimm, Jessica Grimm, Weston Grimm, Jeremy (Amy) Provin, Jill (Derek) Hall and Jason Huedepohl; eleven great grandchildren: Kelly Decker, Amber Decker, Nathan Coble, Alicia Coble, Cassandra Coble, Blake Tedrow, Parker Tedrow, Logan Tedrow, Kaylee Tedrow, Mishayla Kleinmeyer Grimm and Jayeen Grimm; two great grandchildren: Allison Lupkes and Cassie; two brothers: Louis Martin of Arizona and John H. Martin of Georgia; two sisters: Edith Morrow of Richland and Martha Decker of Haysville and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in October 1995, a daughter: Ladeana Myer, a grandson: Dennis Decker, a son in law James Tedrow, a sister: Lorna Levin and two brothers: Raymond and Wayne Martin. Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2205 at the Millersburg United Methodist Church. Rev Ben Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in the Community Cemetery near Millersburg. Visitation will be for 4 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North English.
