Parnell-Annabel Kelly was born June 22, 1929 in Holbrook, Iowa, the daughter of Pete and Elizabeth Duffy Kelly. She attended school in Parnell. Annabel worked for Owens Brush in Iowa City for 30 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parnell, Altar and Rosary Society and American Legion Auxiliary. Annabel died Friday, May 6, 2005 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City after a sudden illness at the age of 75 years. She is survived by a brother: Jim Kelly of Parnell; a sister: Patricia Simon of Riverside; a sister- in-law : Delores Kelly of Las Vegas and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, two brothers: Donald and Bud Kelly and a sister Kathleen Bean. Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parnell. Fr. Joseph Roost will officiate. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in Holbrook. Visitation will be Sunday, May 8, 2005 from 2 to 7:00 p.m. at the Uhlmann-Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Williamsburg.
