Anita D'Urbano

Anita M. D'Urbano, 50, of Mt. Pleasant, IA, died Sunday January 4, 2015, at Arbor Court Long Term Care in Mt. Pleasant, IA. According to her wishes, Ms. D'Urbano has been cremated. The daughter of Ralph and Jane Stickney D'Urbano, Anita Mae was born in Derby, CT, on July 29, 1964. She was a 1983 graduate of Ansonia High School in Ansonia, CT. Anita spent much of her adult life working in retail. While living in Mt. Pleasant, she worked on the line at Goodyear, now known as Veyance Technologies, and at Wal-Mart. Anita enjoyed bowling, along with being a fan of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. She also liked to watch NASCAR, and especially was a Jeff Gordon follower. Anita is survived by a sister, Donna D'Urbano Fletcher of Bethany, CT; a special companion, Jeff Winter of Mt. Pleasant, IA; an aunt, Marion (John) Andrechuk; a niece; two nephews; along with numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
