Andrew E Mast

Andrew E. Mast was born February 8, 1931 in Thomas, Oklahoma the son of Enos M. and Polly (Yoder) Mast. Andrew was baptized at the Mountain View Church in PA on July 29, 1945. On February 8, 1956 he was united in marriage to Elva Miller at the Sharon Bethel Church. Andrew worked as a machinist for Crane Valves in Washington for 21 years. He was a member of Salem Mennonite Fellowship. Andrew died on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Parkview in Wellman at the age of 83 years.
Andrew is survived by his wife Elva of Wellman, a son John (Sandy) Mast of Kalona; three daughters: Glenda (Gerald) Luce of Leon, Pauline (Vernon) Chupp of Cooper, Texas, and Keturah (Ray) Delahoy of Partridge, Kansas; seven grandchildren; two brothers Amos Mast of Hayward, Wisconsin and Menno Mast of Santa Ana, El Salvador; three sisters: Katie (Daniel) Miller of Leon, Fannie (Jonas) Mast of Bloomfield, Ohio and Emma (Marvin J.) Bender of Atmore, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons; Daniel and Nathan Mast.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Fairview Mennonite Church in rural Kalona. Burial will be in the North Gingerich Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the Fairview Mennonite Church. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is in charge of the arrangements.
